1. What we collect

Shake Party has no sign-up. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers or other directly identifying information.

• Anonymous ID — when you use rooms or the weekly ranking, our server creates a random anonymous ID. It is not linked to personal information such as your name or email.
• Device key — so you can get this week's records back after reinstalling, we store one value per device (Android: a SHA-256 hash of the device ID · iPhone: a random value created by the app) together with the anonymous ID. It is not used for ad tracking.
• Nickname — the name you type in. It is shown to players in your room and on the weekly ranking.
• Game records — room code, score per round, your best result per event this week, today's event record, and run numbers.
• Usage records — app opens, solo run finishes (event and result), party and pass-the-phone starts and finishes (player count), card shares, operating system, app version. We use these to see where players stop and to improve the game. Names typed for pass-the-phone stay on your device.
• Joining in a browser — if you join by link without the app, we store an anonymous ID, your nickname and your score, and keep the anonymous ID and nickname in browser storage. The browser page has no ads.

Sensor data never leaves your device. The accelerometer and gyroscope are read on your device only during the 5-second event, and only the final score is sent to the server.

Your personal bests and nickname are also stored on your device.

2. How we use it

Only to start games at the same moment for everyone in a room, show standings, and compile the weekly ranking.

3. Service providers

• Supabase — stores rooms, scores and the weekly ranking (server hosting)
• Google AdMob — shows ads. Google may process device identifiers such as the advertising ID, approximate location estimated from your IP address, and ad interaction and diagnostic data to serve ads, prevent fraud and measure performance. See the Google Privacy Policy.

Shake Party does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and does not track you with the advertising identifier.

No ads during play. Ads appear as banners on home, result, records and grade screens, as full-screen ads after a run or match ends, and when you choose "Watch ad: 12 players · 5 rounds" or "Watch ad to redraw".

4. Retention and deletion

Weekly ranking records are kept to compile the ranking. Records on your device are deleted when you delete the app.

To delete records on our server (nickname and scores), email [email protected] with your nickname and roughly when you played. We will delete them promptly after checking.

5. Payments

Shake Party currently has no in-app purchases.

6. Children

Shake Party is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes

If our practices change, we will update this page first and reflect it in an app update.
